Lavender syrup might be one of the easiest things you can make from the garden — but it’s also one of the staples we always keep in the fridge.
I love it in a cocktail or a latte, yes… but honestly, my kids are the biggest fans in the house.
Every morning they ask for a “bee sting,” and now I hear their friends talking about how they can’t wait to have one the next time they’re over.
Sometimes the simplest things really are the most memorable.
Ingredients:
✔️ 1 bunch fresh lavender
✔️2 cups white sugar
✔️ 2 cups water
Instructions:
Combine lavender, sugar, and water in saucepan and heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves, stirring consistently.
Remove from heat and let syrup rest with the lavender until it has completely cooled (an hour or so).
Remove all lavender.
Drizzle & Blend – With the processor running, slowly stream in olive oil until smooth and creamy.
Store in an airtight container in refrigerator for 1–4 weeks.
Serving Suggestion:
We love this syrup in any classic cocktail as you will see below but our true favorite is in a “Bee Sting” for the kids each morning. 1 cup steamed milk, ½ tbsp of syrup & honey on top.
